On December 1st, we plan a trip to north Playa to Los Pinos Vivero to see our friend Lupe and her special Mayan Garden Club prices on every plant and tree you would ever need. The vivero is huge and she will tell us about the plants and trees she has. You can also buy a peacock there.

Mayan Garden Club First Annual Holiday Brunch
We will have our first annual holiday pot luck brunch at Casa Gatos on Dec 17th sktarting at 12 noon with food at 1pm. Casa Gatos will furnish a turkey breast, tea, fruit punch and plastic ware. Please bring other main dishes, vegetables, salads, desserts and wine, Champagne, and bloody Mary fixings. We need to know who is coming and what you are bringing to coordinate. Everyone Welcome.

The April meeting will be Tuesday April 25 at Chamico’s in Soliman Bay. We will enjoy Dr. Kirk, a renoun Naturopathic Doctor speak to us on natural healing and remedies. We will meet at 1 pm for the meeting but feel free to come and enjoy the beautiful beach for the day. We will be asking for a donation to defray the cost to Dr. Kirk and her trip.

Our May meeting will be a real treat. We will have lunch at Oscar and Lalo’s Restarant across from entrance to Soliman Bay. We will have a tour of Virginia’s famous herb garden and then have our Annual Plant Swap. Everyone is asked to bring a plant or two to swap and mark its name and growing conditions.
