Meet in Chedraui, Puerto Aventuras Parking lot near small  bus stop cover at 8:30 or ,meet at Garden around 9:30am. I was told admission cost was 120 pesos. Bring sun screen, bug repellant and water.

As  You are driving on  307  in direction of  Cancun Airport and get to the road split to Puerto Morelos, take road to right and the garden is right there. (about 15 minutes before you get to the Airport)

South on 307, past Bahia Principe

• Go under overpass at Chemuyil exit
• You will see green highway sign above says ”Chetumal Tankah Tres”-SLOW DOWN
• On the right you will see a palapa for collective at the gravel road-turn right/west
• Continue west past the first dirt road on the left
• Turn left, into the neighborhood-you will see the Policia Caseta
• Continue south to #15 Belice-on the first corner

The Mayan Garden Club will resume monthly meetings on Thursday September 17^th at 11am.We will meet at La Buena Vida Restaurant in Akumal.  This is a very important meeting and we will plan our events, meetings and projects for this year.  Everyone welcome. The Mayan Garden Club has resumed and is planning a lot of exciting trips for all of October. One south and one north.  On October 22^nd, we are planning a “Coba Road Trip” to explore the vivero, the Honey store, Alfredo Gonzales, who makes museum replicas of Mayan art, and the Talavera Store with lots of planter pots, plates, statutes and more. We will hope our friend Victor is at the Talavera store. His uncle owns all the stores and with off season, he will bargain and give resident discounts.  Alfredo Gonzales is a really fascinating older man who speaks many languages, English, Mayan, Greek and Egyptian, and was honored by John Glenn, the astronaut. He sells his replicas and also takes orders.
