This is the first book that most of us buy. It has great information on the plants in the Yucatan area and their uses in food, medicine, and art. Wonderful photos and great information. Its only shortcoming is that it is not as comprehensive as we might like, but we can forgive this as our standards are high and our jungle is lush with poorly documented plants. This is a recommended buy.
