February 2015 Meeting

The Web site is now a reality (Mayangarden.club). The name Mayan was chosen as opposed to Maya because Maya already brings up too much on Google, none related to us and we don’t want people getting confused.

With the web site underway, we agreed to gather gardening information to make it a success. We discussed fund raising projects, the Memorial Gardens and field trips we want to take to the Botanical Gardens in Puerto Morelos and other areas to study the plants. After great food and fun, we set a March meeting.

The next meeting will be March 12 (Thursday ) at La Buena Vita in Akumal at 11am. After a short meeting, we will go to the Memorial Garden to explore ideas for beautification.
