The fruit of this type of sapote tree is divine…The fruit tastes like a pear with a hint of cinnamon.. The fruit sometimes has 1 to 5 seeds which are easily started for more sapote trees. However the trees are very slow growing.

Also you can dry the 1 to 5 seeds and grind for a great fascial mask..

This wonderful tree is found from the Yucatan to Costa Rica. The fruit is sometimes known as the Mexican apple.

It is a Casimiroa edulis , named for Casimiro ftom Hildgo, Mexico,who fought and died in the Mexican war of Independence.

It can grow to a height of 16 meters.
