February 2016 Meeting – Off to Chan Chemuyil

In February. the Mayan Garden Club celebrated the One Year Anniversary by having a Grand Fiesta in members’ homes in Chan Chemuyil.  The party started at Moira’s with a tour of her unique Mayan home and her gardens followed by wonderful hors d’oeuvres.

The adventuresome group visited the two Cenotes under Chan Chemuyil and then the “Jardin de Regalos”(Garden of Gifts) a jungle area transformed by Rozanne Quintero. The fiesta concluded at Rozanne’s for more wonderful food and drink. Rozanne’s jungle transformation is shown in an attached article.
